Thesis title:  Development of transport network in Czechia: Spillover effects caused by changes in transport accessibility and transport congestion.

Begun: 2018

Research:

The thesis analyses the changes in quality of life that have occurred in municipalities that lost transit traffic due to opening of new road bypass or that gain significant accessibility to regional and national centres. The research does not concentrate only on statistical data about economic activity, but also emphasises the role of perceived quality of life and finds connection between new traffic situations and communal activity of local residents.
