Research

In my research I’m uncovering factors and conditions that affect sanitation change in developing countries. More specifically the change in usage of toilets and sanitation behavior in the Indian state of Jharkhand. I participated in two field surveys in Jharkhand, first in 2016 and second in 2019, both conducted in partnership in Xavier Institute of Social Service. I am also analyzing changes in Indian sanitation policy and comparing it to sanitation policy in Ethiopia.
