Research:

Her research focuses on diversification of activities of agricultural holdings in Czechia and also in other EU countries. It deals with the theoretical framework of diversification, with motives and factors, which influence the decision to diversify or not. The other goal of her research is development of diversification in the specific conditions of Czechia and the comparison of diversification in Czechia and other EU countries. Research also deals with the impact of diversification on peripheral rural areas.

The research is based on the concept of postproductional agriculture and multifunctionality, which are closely related to new ways of perception of rural areas - with the new rural paradigm.
