Research focus: Centre-periphery political and socioeconomic tensions within European countries and its consequences for the development of regional nationalism and separatism; Prospects of inter-ethnic/cultural coexistence within the context of ethno-cultural segregation and contact; Kin-states’ effects on the unfolding vs. mitigation of irredentist politics; Electoral geography of regionalist political parties.
