Current and recent research projects: „Application of the contemporary research knowledge in political geography into teaching geography and social-scientific subjects at secondary schools“ (co-researcher; granted by Technological Agency of the Czech Republic)
Objective: The designed project is aimed to compare the impact of European integration policy in the regional development of the Polish-Ukrainian borderlands. These regions are characteristic by its common history when the border changed its contact and barrier function alternately. Nowadays, they are separated by the external EU border, which is supposed to function as a bridge of cooperation, however, is also an important (civilizational) cleavage.

Research: Interested in the Post-Soviet space, European integration processes, borders and borderlands, perception, and quality of life. Since 2015 focused primarily on the Polish-Ukrainian borderland and a role of the external EU border in regional development of this territory.
